For over ten years I have been helping people learn better ways to cope and work through feelings of anxiety, frustration and even numbness. My goal is not only to help people reduce these overwhelming feelings but also improve the important relationships in their lives. I feel that it is an important part of the healing process to help individuals communicate more effectively with the people in their lives. Through being better able to express themselves, my clients' stress and feelings of isolation are reduced and their self-empowerment and self-confidence grow.

I am so glad to help you with your healing journey. I have worked with most populations, and my specialties are working with people who have PTSD, dementia/Alzheimer's, anxiety, depression and family/relationship issues, and I am a divorce mediator. I am an authorized Oasis trainer, so mindfulness is an important part of my practice, as it soothes us mentally and physically.

When my husband and I were having marital issues, we tried three therapists, none of whom helped us very much. In fact, over all, they made things worse. It occurred to me that I might be able to do this better. I wanted a therapist who wouldn’t take sides--someone who would work to understand my point of view as well as my husband’s point of view--someone who would be empathetic and compassionate. I wanted someone who would care about both of us, and, give us hope. These are among the reasons that I became a therapist.

I’m a Licensed Master Social Worker who works with adolescents and adults struggling with life’s many stressors in today’s chaotic world. I strive to build a person-centered, trauma informed focus that prioritizes meeting a person where they are at and building a brighter future together. Empowerment and creating a trustworthy, safe space are my priority as I honor the challenge it is to even walk through the door and seek support.

Do you feel you’re surviving through life rather than living it? Has your anxiety and/or depression immobilized you? Since 2003, I have helped thousands of individuals and families overcome their behavioral health issues. My therapy is an evidence-based clinical program called Neuro-Emotive Cognitive Behavioral therapy (NE-CBT). Individuals are taught to change their thinking, feelings, and behaviors. In my clinical sessions, I teach skills and concepts while helping individuals adapt them into their lives so that they may experience relief from their symptoms. Through NE-CBT, you can ground yourself both inward and outward.

Hello, and nice to meet you! I'm so glad you're here. Therapy should be a place where you feel accepted, comfortable, and safe. I work with folks from all walks of life who are looking to build real, meaningful relationships with themselves and others. My clients tend to struggle with anxiety, stress, people-pleasing, self-worth, perfectionism, and interpersonal relationships. You may avoid showing your true self to other people in your life - because what if something bad happens? If you find yourself struggling to carry the weight of these expectations, you’re in the right place.
