No AI, no filters, just us sharing space for all that spins your world. Very happily queer and nontraditional relationship friendly! Yes, that's a nod to you, ENM folks.
Currently, I am currently open to new clients and am in network with Aetna, Optum (Connecticare, United, and Oxford), and Husky. OON friendly.

Welcome! If you are here, chances are that you are looking for help. That's okay! Everyone needs help sometimes. In my experience, it's better to ask for it and get it than to struggle and continue to beat yourself up over things. Even for people who don't believe they need counseling/therapy, there are many things they could work on to improve themselves. Whether it's relationships, school or career performance, problem solving or just wanting to become a better person, I believe I can help. Don't you deserve a better, happier life?

I take an integrative, holistic approach to mental health because I believe true healing happens when we treat the whole person — mind and body working together. Change doesn’t happen by accident. It happens when we actively do the work, and I’m here to support and challenge you through that process. One thing you’ll often hear me say is: "Nothing changes unless something changes." I primarily work with young adults and adults, helping clients navigate anxiety, trauma, and stress.
Specializing in helping women navigate perimenopause, anxiety, burnout, mood shifts, and identity changes with practical, grounded support.

Engaging in any form of psychotherapy involves entering into a new relationship. The relationship you develop with your therapist plays a major role in everything that will take place in the treatment process. My work typically begins with actively listening to the stories and problems of my clients, assisting them in organizing their goals and desired areas of change. I like to help clients explore the underlying root causes contributing to the distress, whilst equipping them with alternative coping skills and strategies to implement.

Anxiety and depression feel like something you can’t always control and like your mind and body are betraying you. Over time, these feelings can creep into more aspects of your life and can be overwhelming. This is particularly true for teens and young adults, for people experiencing marital issues, and those struggling with addiction. Imagine waking up without dreading the future, taking the day as it comes, and no longer feeling apart from others. Imagine how you can move past this painful time and experience a new sense of calm and feel centered in both mind and spirit. Whatever the form your challenges take, You are not alone.

Anger Management Therapists
How long does therapy take for anger management?
Treatment duration depends on the person’s specific challenges and circumstances. There are treatments for anger problems that are shorter and more goal-oriented, like Cognitive behavior therapy (CBT), which can last weeks to months. Others, like Dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) may last between six months and a year, while a more intensive treatment, like psychodynamic therapy, is open-ended, and clients may see their therapist for a year or longer.
How do you know if you need therapy for anger management?
Everyone gets mad from time to time. But when angry outbursts become frequent and cause damage to relationships, whether at home or in the office, it may be a good time to look into therapy. A therapist can assess where a client’s anger may be coming from, suggest strategies for averting angry outbursts, and help a client create a plan to become a calmer version of themselves.
Is there medication for anger management?
Medications do exist that help people mitigate the feeling of anger, but these are reserved for people with anger-related psychiatric disorders, such as intermittent explosive disorder, oppositional defiant disorder, or in some cases borderline personality disorder. In these cases, antidepressant medications may be prescribed to help with the client’s symptoms. In most cases of anger management, however, talk therapy is the recommended treatment, along with lifestyle changes where relevant.
What’s the best way to encourage someone to seek help for anger issues?
It’s helpful to express your concern and love for the person while framing therapy as a tool for improving their life. Offering specific examples of how an individual’s behavior affected either themselves or others should be done with compassion and with empathy. It may be useful to devise a game plan—breaking the process down into parts, such as finding a therapist, making appointments, and looking into insurance coverage.
