Welcome! I am Dr. Manda, a Licensed Pastoral Counselor in Kentucky. I have a Ph.D. in Pastoral Family Therapy and specialize in pastoral counseling and Psychotherapy. I am the author of Re-authoring Life Narratives After Trauma; and the Developer of a Holistic Narrative Model of Care, which integrates spiritual resources into a psychotherapy process to address the holistic needs of my clients. I work with clients to develop life skills and mindsets that overcome challenges in their lives, careers, and relationships.
There is no one-size-fits-all approach to therapy and I use several of them. However, I often use the Skilled Helper Model, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Narrative Therapy to clarify issues and beliefs that bring you to therapy; assess your needs, hopes, and resources; and together work towards treatment goals that make a difference.
