I’m Crystal Jerome, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), primarily working with women who are navigating fertility, grief and loss, pregnancy and postpartum, and motherhood. I use various approaches (CBT, attachment-focused therapy, EMDR, and self-compassion-focused approaches) that work for the individual client to help decrease common mood-related disorders such as anxiety, depression, and PTSD. Our first session is information gathering. It’s a chance for me to get to know you, what’s bringing you to therapy, and your life experiences to better assist in meeting your goals.
I’ve always worked with women specifically mothers in my work as a therapist. Whether she’s having difficulty trying to conceive, has experienced loss, is currently pregnant, or is in postpartum and dealing with the challenges of motherhood - she’s found the right safe space. Grief and loss, anxiety, and depression are commonly seen in the work I do.
Clients can look forward to an empathetic, compassion forward, and warm space when in session with me. It’s very conversational and organic. You’ll find yourself looking forward to an unbiased place to land each week as you work through issues impacting your day-to-day.
