About
I prioritizes empowerment, growth, & collaboration to support youth and adults. I am passionate and skilled in working with children, adolescences, young adults, adults, couples, and families. I create a safe space for each client to explore themselves and their place in the world around them. I use an integrative approach to therapy in order to cultivate and support each client’s individual needs. I specialize in anxiety, depression, ADHD, mood dysregulation, adjustment, trauma, identity, BIPOC, LGBTQIA+, child development, behavior problems, social skills, family planning, & life changes
I believe each client has an individual experience and story that deserves to be respected and heard. I take a collaborative approach by acknowledging the client as the expert in their experiences yet using my professional training and counseling experience to help explore any issues, become confident in their potential, and acknowledge their successes.
I have a Master’s in Counseling from Chicago School of Professional Psychology and a Bachelor’s Degree from UIC. In addition to private practice, I work in a behavioral health hospital with pediatrics, young adults, adults, clients with substance use, and psychosis. I can understand, support, & treat different needs. Reach out to see how I can help you.
