I have a strong passion for supporting caregivers who have recently received a diagnosis for their child, whether it be a mental health, developmental, or medical diagnosis. My goal is to normalize these emotions and offer a safe, nonjudgmental environment for caregivers to navigate through this journey without feeling isolated.
Drawing from my extensive experience working with children and families, I have also developed a passion for assisting adolescents dealing with anxiety and depression. Given the increasing rate of teen suicide, I am committed to providing a space where young individuals can address their struggles and recognize their inner strength to overcome difficulties.
As a mother of three children, all of whom have been diagnosed with autism, I understand the challenges and emotional hurdles that come with processing such news. Despite any level of preparedness, there is a natural grieving process that accompanies the realization that your child's life will be different than initially envisioned.
