We all struggle at times-in our relationships and with ourselves. I believe that you don't have to struggle alone. I work with my clients to explore where they might feel stuck or afraid, make sense of how they got there, and then make changes. As a person who has been with a partner for nearly 20 years, I know relationships have ups and downs and that sometimes we need support navigating difficult conversations. As a Chicana, second gen immigrant, and the first in my biracial family to attend college, I know what it's like to struggle to exist in two different worlds, never knowing exactly where I fit in.
I use Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) and Eye Movement and Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR) in my work. I help individuals process childhood trauma, relationship trauma, and trauma due to systems of oppression. I help couples work through infidelity, relationship trauma, and disconnection.
