Relationships can be challenging when you don't feel felt by your partner. Sometimes you feel like you're in the twilight zone because the same argument just keeps happening. No matter how hard you try, you still feel the same: alone, unimportant, under appreciated or some other awful feeling. Many times your partner doesn't even know your pain; its just too much to say. My Advanced Emotionally Focused Couples therapy training will allow you space to take risks in a comfortable and supportive environment. I encourage an intimate connection that can withstand challenges. If you love him/her, you can tell him/her. All are welcome.
When you start, you may feel anxious, afraid, sad or even angry with your partner. EFT is my guide to help you share the weight of it: its not as heavy if two are sharing the load. My work with individuals explores internal responses to external stimuli. Together we learn to better manage your emotional responses so that you can feel better about it.
As a Marriage and Family Therapist, I believe that any person can and should feel safe and loved by family, friends and significant others.
