This world is a crazy place these days, and a little help goes a long way! I work to provide individualized and active therapeutic assessment and intervention based on strengths and needs. I have worked with clients with a wide range of mental health concerns, including depression, anxiety, mood disruption, emotional dysregulation, ADHD, addiction, adjustment disorders, parenting problems, suicidal ideation, and anger management.
My approach combines cognitive-behavioral, dialectical behavior, person-centered, motivational interviewing, and guided discovery techniques to meet each individual's needs and goals.
My counseling style is warm and engaging. I want my clients to be as involved as possible in their treatment planning and interventions. I work hard to provide a mutually respectful and dignified environment that fosters growth and development, leading to improved functioning and a decrease in symptoms that may be making life difficult.
