I’m Crystal Chafin, a Resident in Counseling specializing in marriage and family therapy with over five years of experience. I work with couples and individuals facing a range of concerns, including chronic illness, depression, anxiety, relationship challenges, behavioral issues, and substance use disorder. I also have experience supporting adolescents navigating gender and sexuality questions, as well as those with ADHD and bipolar disorder. Having witnessed firsthand the effects of mental health diagnoses on the family system, I provide a safe, supportive space for open sharing and growth.
I earned my Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy and Addiction Studies from Capella University. My approach includes cognitive behavioral therapy, Gottman therapy, collaborative therapy, narrative therapy, and mindfulness exercises to support clients in reaching meaningful therapy goals.
