About
Hello! My name is Crystal Shilling and I am a clinical social worker. I specialize in women’s health, maternal health, and trauma in women. I provide education and emotional support to women who may be having a difficult time navigating parenting challenges with children, adolescents, or teenagers. I seek to empower the women I work with to advocate for themselves while providing a supportive environment for marginalized groups struggling with mental health issues. I also provide therapy to adolescents and teens experiencing depression, anxiety &/or trauma.
The majority of my career has been dedicated to two primary passions: integrated behavioral health services in primary care and maternal health. I have an MSW from Wayne State University & three post graduate certificates: Two in Integrated Behavioral Health in Primary Care & Pediatrics and one in Advanced Psychotherapy with the Perinatal Population.
Providing parenting support and assisting mothers with the weight of carrying the mental load will be an integral part of our work together.
