Relational living is at the heart of my work. Individuals learning to be kind to the anxious and depressed sides of themselves. Couples who have drifted, or splintered, learning how to come back together. Families bridging gaps to realign and work with, instead of against, each other. Teens who have negative self talk and low self esteem. It all has it's foundation in relational living. When I work with my clients, they are individuals, and our process is unique. We collaborate on treatment goals and assess along the way if we are each doing our job to reach those goals.
I have a very client centered approach, and utilize Cognitive Behavioral strategies with individuals. Teens like my approachable manner, and families benefit from my ability to honor all perspectives. Relational Life Therapy - created by Terrence Real - is the foundational training that informs my Relational Life Couples work.
I have over 15 years experience working in a variety of settings: an outpatient recovery program in San Francisco, group homes in Central California, military installations worldwide, private practice and even an international school in Amman, Jordan. I relocated to the Gallatin Valley in 2015, and my husband and I are raising 2 delightful boys.
