About
Whether you are dealing with the grief of a loved one, relationship or self-esteem issues, stress, anxiety, depression, or trauma, therapy can be vital in helping you learn ways to reduce symptoms and manage behavior that affect your mental well-being. As a therapist, I can support you in all these areas by working with you to improve upon the coping skills you already have and by providing additional skills to cope. I have experience working with a wide range of ages, e.g., children, adolescents, adults, and senior who present with a ride range of diagnoses. I use an integrative treatment approach that includes primarily CBT.
Research continues to show that mental health has a direct correlation to physical health. So, how we feel about ourselves and what we tell ourselves can affect our decision making and behavior. Let me help you modify your thoughts and behaviors which may reduce the physical symptoms and lead to an improvement in mental wellness.
You took the first step by looking for a therapist. Now that you are ready to put in the work to reduce stress and anxiety, minimize or eliminate intrusive thoughts of past trauma, and manage depression you have come to the right place. As a faith-based, Air Force veteran I understand the importance of respecting your culture, tradition, and beliefs.
