Welcome! I believe that therapy is an experience in which we work together, rather than one in which a clinician treats a patient. While the methods I use are evidence-based, my approach is heart-centered and mindful. Whether you are wanting help with anxiety, depression, trauma, abuse, dating/relationships, divorce/end of a relationship, grief or overcoming a block in your personal growth, you are in the right place. I practice EMDR Therapy and received my EMDR Training from the Maiberger Institute, an EMDRIA approved provider of EMDR Trainings.
I received my certification in Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), another evidence-based trauma treatment from the Office of Veterans Affairs. I also specialize in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), a skills training approach for managing difficult emotions; tolerating distress; reducing impulsivity; and communicating wisely.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a master's degree from the University of Denver and a Certified Addictions Specialist. My clinical experience includes the Office of Veterans Affairs, the University of Colorado's Addiction Research & Treatment Services, Arapahoe/Douglas Mental Health, Boulder Mental Health Partners and Sandstone Care.
