In life we often face obstacles which cause us painful emotions, feeling disconnected, isolated and confused. The good news is we don’t have to navigate this alone and I would be honored to help guide you. Are you currently experiencing depression, anxiety, an eating disorder, or trauma from an abusive relationship? Or perhaps you are looking for someone who has training and experience with neurodiversity (ADHD and/or Autism). In sessions I use an array of therapeutic techniques to promote a mind/body connection, such as Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Polyvagal Theory, Internal Family Systems, and Attachment Based Theory.
I use a mindfulness-based approach, deepening one’s self-awareness, increasing self-compassion, and finding acceptance for where one is in the present moment. Clients often report, I deeply listen, provide reflective feedback, and challenge the barriers standing in the way of their personal growth. “Its an authentic therapeutic experience”
In the office I am joined by my Black Lab Happy and if given permission he will gladly provide comfort and support. Research suggests dogs help lower our blood pressure, increase engagement, and reduce anxiety. If you are a college student, adolescent (12+), or adult ready to get started, call, text, or email me. In honor of you, let’s get your started!
