I view therapy as a relationship that client and therapist choose to enter into for the sake of treating specific issues as well as to engage the deeper issues of the client's life. I believe that people are best understood by looking at their interactions with others. In our process together, we will explore how past relationships have impacted your patterns of relating in the present. We will also seek greater awareness of what is occurring between the two of us during our therapy sessions.
I specialize in working with individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, grief, creative blocks, issues in relationships, and life transitions. In addition to working with the general community, I enjoy working with those facing chronic illness, parents, and professional artists.
I approach therapy from a relational psychodynamic perspective and believe the therapeutic relationship can bring growth and change. I hope to come alongside you in your process of pursuing wholeness and greater freedom in life and relationship.
