I am a Spanish speaking bicultural somatic trauma therapist who uses EMDR, Sensorimotor Psychotherapy, and parts language to aid adults in working through stuck memories and emotions. Clients I see will typically describe feeling overwhelmed as they navigate transitions in their life or they may have experienced something that triggered memories from the past. I am particularly passionate about issues regarding migration, biculturalism, birth trauma, and matresence because of my own lived experiences which have inspired my greater level of sensitivity to these topics.
We will work towards your goals in a way that helps you feel seen, heard, and understood. Using various interventions I can aid you in decreasing the emotional affect that comes up when a memory gets triggered. I bring warmth, compassion, and curiosity to create a non judgmental environment where you are invited to bring all of you.
