As a therapist, my mission is to provide a compassionate and non-judgmental relational context so that I can help my clients in the resolution of their profound sense of loneliness and feelings that "no one can understand their pain". Within the therapeutic relationship, I can help my clients in reviewing and correcting maladaptive strategies of self-protection, and in finding ways to feel safe in a world that feels unsafe. I believe therapy can help immensely in resolving emotional self-isolation, and in reconnecting with the resilience, potential, and motivation necessary to work at, and achieve personal aspirations.
I believe in collaborative and individualized treatment. I am an AEDP trained therapist and I help clients with PTSD, trauma, substance use, anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and adjustment to life transitions. My academic background in Anthropology provides me with the essential skills to work with clients experiencing cultural stress.
I work with individuals and couples. I am looking forward to work with clients of any cultural background. I am currently providing teletherapy in Phoenix, Tucson, and statewide.
