I believe that we all have the ability to grow and change into who we want to become. At times, life and painful past experiences can impede us from becoming the best version of ourselves. I believe that therapy should take into considerations the needs of the client and that there is no “one size fits all” approach to therapy. Given the proper time and guidance, healing and change can happen.

I am bicultural and able to provide services in English and Spanish. I specialize in treating anxiety, depression, anger, domestic violence, immigration issues, as well as trauma and life transitions. I use a combination of various therapeutic techniques such as CBT, mindfulness, and DBT. I am also trained in EMDR and working towards certification.

My approach is to make therapy a safe space where the healing process can occur through the use of empathy, non-judgemental acceptance, and developing client insight and awareness.
