About
I specialize in short-term intensive psychotherapy and long-term psychotherapy with children, adolescents, adults, and families, and I conduct psychological testing. My work with children and adolescents has involved helping them navigate a range of emotional, behavioral, and academic difficulties. I have worked in private and public schools and counseled parents to help them advocate for their children's needs. My work with adults has included serving in outpatient and inpatient settings to address a range of issues, including depression, anxiety, trauma, difficulties managing stressors, relationship, career, and marital problems.
I have specialized training in psychodynamic psychotherapy, cognitive-behavioral therapy, evidence-based treatments, play therapy, and family/marital therapy. I am multi-lingual, and I provide services in English, Italian, and Spanish. I am proficient in French.
I have held various positions outside of my practice, including as the lower and middle school psychologist at the Collegiate School in NYC. I also worked in the Department of Pediatric Psychiatry at New York-Presbyterian Hospital/Columbia University Medical Center, where I treated children and served as an Instructor of Clinical Psychology in Psychiatry.
