I work with teens-adults, couples and families dealing with challenging life issues from relationship stresses, family turmoil, grief and loss, sexual identity, substance abuse, anxiety and depression. I have worked in multiple settings including inpatient hospitals, detox and dual diagnosis facilities, outpatient and school systems.
I am passionate about my work, eclectic in my practice style and utilize whichever technique seems most useful to the client. I use an integrative and individualized approach aimed at improving the quality of life of my clients by helping them find balance, learn coping skills and rediscover choice.
I believe it is an honor to help clients gain insight that they may not have gained on their own and to witness their journey. The goal is to work collaboratively with clients using empathic listening, unconditional positive regard, and respect.
