About
I work primarily with youth and teenagers, as well as adults and families in a variety of situations. My therapeutic style is rooted in the belief that people deserve to feel a sense of control over their actions and confidence to find peace through adversity. My role is to support the process of healing, growth and acceptance. Ultimately, I work with you to encourage and strengthen your unique identity and success. For times that you want validation, empathy, and guidance, therapy can be helpful. Nothing needs to be “wrong” with you in order to get some benefit.
I support issues related to: anxiety depressed mood stress peer and relationship issues developing into adulthood meaning and motivation change and loss stressful environments and complex trauma specific trauma anger goal development identity (gender, cultural, sexuality) building strengths and self-esteem
Committing to therapy is sometimes easy, sometimes hard; sometimes you know exactly what the issue is, sometimes you don’t. And that’s okay! Therapy can be a space to get new perspective, find validation, make a decision, heal, understand, or make change.
