I care deeply and believe people can adapt to their life circumstances if given the necessary tools. It is not for lack of will but for lack of skill that people are not thriving. Therefore, my focus in therapy is to equip and empower individuals, couples and families to achieve healing. Having worked as a missionary for two decades and lived in three different continents, I possess a rich multicultural background, a love for diversity as well as the languages to communicate.
I speak English, Spanish and French on a native speaker level. I have specialized in working with trauma and see clients dealing with PTSD, depression, anxiety, self-esteem, and relational, marital, and phase of life issues.
My approach is eclectic and tailored to each individual client, using person centered counseling, CBT, REBT, Solution focused, EMDR, Gottman Couples method, and a series of other modalities.
