Therapy is collaborative, compassionate, and relational. What if you could find freedom from feelings of anxiety and depression. People are naturally motivated toward healing and recovery, and that an alliance with a supportive therapist, with whom you feel safe and comfortable, can facilitate this process. There is no template or single method that I use in my practice. Instead, we will determine the pace and style that is best for you. Throughout our work together, I will be open to and enthusiastic about the feedback you provide about the treatment. I will share my thoughts and assessments, with room for discussion.
My goal is to facilitate and support your efforts to change so that you recognize your unique strengths. We will explore your current strategies and develop new methods of coping. I specialize in EMDR & favor approaches that address the connection between mental and physical well-being, which include somatic work, mindfulness, meditation, or breath-work.
Depression, anxiety, trauma, and struggles with intimacy and relationships all have a profound impact on how we experience and negotiate our life's work. Together we can identify these roadblocks, work in a targeted way to resolve them, and promote the healthy development and happiness you deserve.
