Welcome! I’m Dr. Cristal Lopez, a licensed lifespan psychologist who believes that while pain is a part of life, suffering is optional. With training from world-renowned children’s hospitals—including Children’s Hospital Los Angeles, Children’s Hospital of Orange County, Texas Children’s Hospital, and the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia—I’ve spent years honing my expertise in working with children, teens, and young adults.
As a fellowship trained pediatric psychologist, some of my specialization include neuropsych comprehensive assessment for ADHD, learning differences, and giftedness. I hold specialized training in medical conditions including chronic pain, IBD, IBS, Crohn's, abdominal pain, functional neurological disorder (FND), headaches, and migraines.
Using a values based approach in therapy, I treat a wide range of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, PTSD, burnout, attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder, stress, relationship struggles, adverse childhood experiences (ACEs), grief, and trauma.
