With many years experience as an LPC, I provide compassionate, nonjudgmental care and support to individuals 18+ years. I base my counseling work from a humanist, systems perspective, valuing each client and his/her/their ability to use one's strengths to learn how to best cope and overcome any of life's hardships. I specialize in working with individuals navigating grief/loss; life transitions; and women's health concerns, including perinatal mood disorders, infertility, and perimenopause/menopause. I also support clients experiencing depression, anxiety, chronic pain, trauma and adoption-related issues. My practice is LGBTQIA+ affirming and I am an ally.
I draw from a variety of evidence-based treatment modalities, including Solution-Focused Therapy, Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Strength-based approaches, Narrative Therapy, Somatic Therapy, and Guided Imagery/Mindfulness. I also offer Evaluations for Couples using Donor Gametes to build their families (Self-Pay).
