Are you feeling lost in a pattern with yourself or others that despite your best efforts, you have not found relief or resolution? Are you a parent who has felt disconnect from your child or teen? Relationships are complicated and dynamic, and my approach to therapy is to build an emotionally safe and nurturing relationship for you to reconnect to yourself and expand your relational skills as a support to repair and rebuild with the people most important to you. I am a person-centered therapist with a focus on attachment, trauma processing, development, and resilience skill building.
With my 13 yrs of experience, starting with play therapy and art therapy at a relationship-based agency, I developed an integrative approach. There I had additional training in Infant Mental Health, Theraplay, and other parent-child approaches to therapeutic support. I have also worked specifically with teens in supporting healthy development and growth.
We were all children and teens once, and if parents, you may be feeling the parallels of those experiences in your own children. Having a supportive and skills therapeutic relationship can offer space to explore and learn about yourself and your family. Therapy can be a great opportunity to feel valued while building perspective and strategies for your life.
