Announcement icon I am still accepting new clients. I have immediate openings for tele-therapy and face-to-face sessions. I would be honored to support you.
Creative Expression's unique approach to counseling differs from traditional talk therapy by utilizing art and play therapy techniques as avenues of self exploration, discovery, and expression. Play can be used to explore the world and make sense of experiences. Art can speak in colors, shapes, and images beyond the limitations of our spoken language. I use this creative process in therapy to help with resolving conflicts, developing interpersonal skills, managing behavior, reducing stress and impulsivity, and increasing self-esteem/awareness. Additionally, opportunities for healing, self-understanding, and changes can occur.
I specialize in helping kids, teens, and young adults with freely and naturally expressing thoughts and feelings through creative outlets and communicating experiences that may be difficult to verbalize just with words. Services include individual sessions, groups, and guidance and support programs for individuals, families, and organizations.
I aim to focus on your individual wants and needs, while enhancing your strengths and abilities. I provide a safe, supportive, and comfortable environment to help you build trust, gain hope, feel understood, positively connect, and freely express yourself! If inspired, I invite you to contact me so that we can begin your creative self-care journey together!

Each group will focus on a specific social skill from the areas of classroom survival, friendship making, dealing with feelings, alternatives to aggression, and dealing with stress. Creative Play Group

This group focuses on utilizing play to enhance the self-awareness, self-regulation, social communication, empathy and adoptability in children 4-6 y/o. Children use play and imagination to explore the world and to make sense of what they see, hear, and experience. Play strengthens the connections in the brain and supports intellectual, physical, emotional, social, and creative processes. The benefits children can gain from this group include learning to communicate and express thoughts and emotions, modify behaviors, develop new and creative solutions to problems, gain respect and acceptance of self, and enhance self-efficacy and decision making abilities.
