I work with a range of different mental health issues including depression, anxiety, trauma, adjustment disorders and sexual interest/identity issues. I believe that you are the expert of your own life and together we can work on a plan to lead you to becoming a well adjusted and more fulfilled person. Working through and healing from trauma can be a very difficult process and you do not have to navigate this alone. I am trained in Prolonged Exposure for assessing and treating trauma.
I believe that marriage is one of the strongest bonds we can have and thus is important to a healthy, happy and meaningful life. I work with a range of relationship issues including infidelity, trust issues, communication and sexual problems. I also have experience working with teens and college adjustment issues.
While I use different perspectives and approaches, my focus is on the unique individual/couple seeking help. Taking the first step towards counseling can be difficult.
