Before becoming an LCSW I worked for many years as a medical assistant. My background and training in these fields helps me understand and guide patients / family members through illness and / or grief. I also have extensive experience helping people who are depressed or anxious. I believe that it is important to listen to clients and learn from them, rather than approaching their concerns as if I have all the answers. Together we can find ways for you, the client, to grow, cope with, and overcome stressors and difficulties in life.

I have many years of experience treating a multitude of addictions and mental health disorders. I specialize in sex addiction and as an EMDR trauma therapist as well. I am happily married and have three kids. My favorite past time is spending time with my family and going out with my hunting dog "Cooper."
