I provide a safe and non judgmental space to assist individuals in exploring and increasing self worth, self empowerment, and developing a healthy routine. I believe in using a strengths based approach to encourage finding joy and gratitude. I am a clinical psychologist who specializes in eating disorder treatment. I believe in treatment that works, is based in science, and has an end goal (i.e., evidence-based treatment). I work primarily with eating disorders; however also enjoy supporting individuals through interpersonal difficulties, life transitions, anxiety, and depression. I know how difficult change can be and offer a compassionate approach that values working toward your personal goals.

I am experienced working with people of all ages, and in couples and family groups. Most people have goals around reducing distress and resolving painful experiences, as well as exploring their strengths and potential for change and growth. Mental health problems, stressful life events and chronic pain or illness can take a toll on our resources. Having a safe and private place to explore possibilities and build upon skills can be a powerful aid in moving forward in life with renewed energy and positivity. I believe we all find ourselves struggling at times in our lives and it’s helpful to be seen, heard and understood during these times. It is also my belief, in our current fast-paced society, that we are often conflicted with competing values and expectations, which tends to exacerbate our anxiety, sadness and frustration. Welcome! I am a licensed clinical psychologist and certified school psychologist with over twenty years of experience. I work primarily with children, adolescents and young adults. I draw from a variety of treatment approaches based on the needs and strengths of each individual including CBT, DBT, social skills training, psychodynamic psychotherapy, play therapy and brief therapeutic interventions. I believe in working collaboratively with clients and helping them identify and utilize their strengths.

Charles Schindler is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker. He graduated from the University of Maine with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Child and Family Relationships. He earned a Masters Degree in Clinical Social Work with a focus on Trauma Recovery from Boston University. Charles has worked in the field of mental health since 2008, first treating teens and then focusing on treating adults with varying mental health diagnoses. Charles worked at The Mental Health Center of Greater Manchester for 7 years as a Psychotherapist.

With over 37 years of clinical experience, I'm also a parenting specialist, helping parents to understand their children's behavior & needs. As a divorce mediator, my approach is child-centered. They must navigate a difficult grieving process, while they learn to transform their relationship from marital partners to business partners, sharing the "business" of raising their children together to ensure everyone thrives.

I am a licensed clinical psychologist with 17+ years of experience providing assessment and therapy to adolescents, young adults, and families who are seeking to process and heal from a variety of issues including: depression, anxiety, anger, suicide/self-harm, trauma, impulsivity, gender identity issues, and problematic sexual behavior. Adolescence is a period of significant development that presents major social and emotional challenges. My goal is to provide a nurturing and accepting environment where clients can grow to appreciate the therapeutic process and learn new skills necessary to reach their identified goals.

I am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor who works with adolescents, and adults from ages 13 through adulthood. LGBTQIA, trauma, and mood disorders are some of my favorite issues to help with. I believe that everyone already has the tools they need within themselves to overcome life's challenges and I can be there to support you in developing and maintaining healthy, positive coping skills.

I am passionate about the work that I do and realize that reaching out and asking for help can be one of the most challenging aspects of starting the therapy process. We all have strengths, yet sometimes we need guidance to identify what they are and how they help us to move through difficult challenges we face. I draw upon several theoretical frameworks which include trauma-informed care, strength-based, solution-focused, narrative therapy, and systems practices. However, I prefer to relate on a human level and focus on building meaningful relationships where true compassion and understanding can lead to meaningful transformations.
