He also work with spouses/partners and families of sex addicts as well as individuals who struggle with anxiety, anger, trauma, and depression.

Anna works with families, couples, adolescents and children. She has extensive experience in crisis counseling, individual, and groups. She holds a Masters degree in Community Counseling with an emphasis in Marriage and Family therapy. Anna has been trained by one of the top trauma therapists in the nation and is a certified trauma therapist herself; as well as EMDR trained. Anna is also a Certified Sexual Addiction Therapist. (CSAT) Anna offers multiple day customized therapy intensives as well as weekly outpatient appointments.

I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and Licensed Professional Counselor specializing in couples therapy, trauma work, and recovery from addiction. I have worked as a therapist in a 90-Day Residential Treatment Center, Community Mental Health, and in Private Practice. I have led therapy intensives, group therapy, taught courses at the university level, and managed a therapeutic high and low ropes course.

I believe that the root of all addiction is trauma. Instead of my clients asking, “What’s wrong with me?” I want them to ask themselves, “What happened to me?” From this vantage point, we can begin to walk the road of healing and break the bonds of shame. With significant experience in addiction/trauma treatment, I am able to provide my clients a deep understanding of their pain.

Bio video on my website! In 2011, I graduated from seminary & worked as a youth pastor for 5 years. From the vantage point of a pastor, I saw the need for good, quality, professional therapy in people's lives. When you walk through the therapist’s door, you expect to be given the tools you need to accomplish change. Good therapy is more than “What do you want to talk about today?” You need to work with a therapist who has the right tools to dig deep and do some heavy lifting, and that is what I offer.

First off, I think it's funny that I'm even a "psychotherapist". I reluctantly started going to counseling myself in college. Surprisingly, it changed my life for the better. I never would have guessed it! It was so beneficial, I ended up getting a master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy...not necessarily as a career choice, but simply to continue my personal learning and growth. I've worked in several other career fields, but no other job has even come close to matching the satisfaction I get from helping people find freedom after experiencing some of their darkest times. Now it has become my passion!
