Since 2011, I have provided individual, group, and family therapy. I earned my Clinical Social Worker license in Virginia in 2014. After earning a Master’s in Social Work from Virginia Commonwealth University, I gained experience in various settings, including intensive in-home therapy, residential treatment for children and adolescents, community mental health, private practice, and hospitals. I continuously refine my therapeutic skills through ongoing education and study, seeking out the latest interventions and insights from various theoretical approaches.
Mindfulness-based cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) has proven effective for the issues I address and can be combined with other interventions to reduce stress and improve overall functioning. I also enjoy incorporating experiential techniques such as art, music, and movement therapies when appropriate, tapping into creative solutions for life challenges.
