I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 18 years of experience in social work with diverse populations. If you are experiencing grief, anxiety, depression, relationship issues, or just need help navigating life’s challenges I would love to help. I also have several years of experience working with physically disabled clients, those dealing with chronic pain, and the lifestyle adjustments that come from chronic illness. Ralph Waldo Emerson said, “the greatest gift you can give someone is the space to be his or her authentic self,” and that is what I offer, a safe judgement free space to feel understood and supported.
There is no one best method to help people. I believe in providing a judgment free safe space to let clients be themselves and discover their path at their own pace. I am mindful of each client's own experiences and preferences. I am continuously taking educational classes to stay current on the best techniques to help others.
The idea of therapy can be daunting, especially when you don't know what to expect. There won't be any pressure to share your whole story and dive into the parts that you feel are too difficult.
