I view therapy from a holistic lens, encouraging clients to explore their holistic self (mental, spiritual, sexual, physical, etc.) and how those various pieces impact our view of self, the world, and our lived experiences. Finding meaning in experiences, as well as curating curiosity and compassion towards the self are inherent to my therapeutic process. To summarize my approach to treatment from Carl Rogers: "A person is a fluid process, not a fixed & static entity; a flowing river of change, not a block of solid material; a continually changing constellation of potentialities, not a fixed quantity of traits."
I utilize a mix of experiential techniques, along with person-centered, Gestalt, emotion-focused and relational lenses such as Attachment theory to guide my sessions and treatment process. It is my belief that you are the expert of your life, and it is my role as your therapist to collaborate alongside you towards a place of healing.
Finding the best fit for yourself in a therapist is essential to a positive therapeutic experience. I believe that all individuals possess the strength to grow, heal, and write themselves a new story, given an open space for support, access to resources, and guidance. I would be honored to begin walking this journey with you.
