I would be honored to support you on your journey towards healing and living a more present and connected life. I specialize in trauma. For several years I have supported clients in healing from acute trauma, complex PTSD and chronic trauma. I firmly believe that we all have within us the natural ability to heal from trauma. My goal is to create a safe, nonjudgmental space where you can find your voice and feel empowered to move through life’s ups and downs with flexibility and confidence. I work with adults across the lifespan and understand firsthand the importance of being a culturally competent therapist.
I like to treat each client as an expert in themselves. My experience as a trauma therapist using Somatic Experiencing has allowed clients to feel more present and assertive. Somatic Experiencing is a transformative experience, where the body learns to release the stored trauma and enables the nervous system to self-regulate.
Lastly, my training in Attachment Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy comes into play to provide tools to improve communication, to set healthy boundaries, problem-solve, and to affirm your worth.
