There are many reasons to come to therapy and the process can feel daunting and confusing. My goal as a therapist is to address the needs, hurts, longings and desires that are bringing you to my office.. My client-centered, experiential and dynamic approach to therapy involves working with individuals of all ages, couples and families who want to explore the barriers and challenges that keep them from living the lives they desire. I believe that all people want to feel connected and safe and that our relational patterns, life experiences and struggles can create distance rather than connection. Therapy can make a difference.
I became certified in Trauma and Military, while working in Georgia. I also have advanced training in Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy and Trauma Resiliency Model. My work as s Mental Health Partner at Higher Ground serving Military Veterans, their families and supporters is a great privilege and passion.
I believe my background in professional theatre brings an element of creativity and a unique perspective to the interventions and tools that I tailor to each individual client.
