My goal as a licensed professional counselor is to create a safe and supportive therapeutic environment to foster awareness and create change. I put a strong emphasis on developing effective coping strategies and communication skills to assist each individual with managing the various difficulties they are experiencing or will encounter. The overall goal of therapy is for each individual to work towards acceptance and positive personal growth.
During my 9 years in practice I have worked with adults, adolescents and children. Some of my specializations include individuals diagnosed with a Mood Disorder, Anxiety Disorder, Autism Spectrum Disorder, self-esteem issues, social and emotional challenges, Gender Dysphoria, and family conflict.
I have extensive experience working with teens and young adults struggling with anxiety and challenges associated with the transition into young adulthood and the college environment. I look forward to speaking with you about your path towards wellness!
