My goal is to help you make the best of your unique life circumstances and work towards being the person you want to be. I work with mood and anxiety disorders of all kinds, and also enjoy working with people navigating major life transitions, people in substance use recovery, dieting recovery, and those setting boundaries with complex families of origin. Prior to becoming a therapist I worked in public policy for over a decade, and have a deep understanding of the societal structures in place that feel immovable, and yet greatly impact our mental health.
I am IFS informed and EMDR trained. In addition to these modalities, I draw from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy in session. I consider myself solution-focused and want our work together to continue only as long as needed!
