Hi there, I'm Courtney! I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I have provided therapeutic services in various settings for 10-plus years and have taken the opportunity to work with children, as well as adults, to address symptoms that have become problematic in their everyday lives. I have worked with a broad spectrum of symptoms and I am ready to be of assistance to you in your process of healing, learning, and growing.
My counseling style is interactive, empathetic, and warm. My preference is to be engaging with sessions because I believe in having a practical, solution-focused approach to work through the problems that led you to seek assistance. I strive to implement respect, compassion, dignity, and active listening during every interaction with clients.
We will work together to help you achieve insight, learn new skills, and find strategies that will move you toward change and growth. I also believe that assigning homework in between therapy sessions is important to help you practice skills and implement desired changes.
