I approach therapy with a nonjudgmental perspective and a curiosity to understand the unique experiences leading clients to therapy. I believe a strong, genuine connection and collaboration between therapist and client can not only be an opportunity to improve coping skills and process through trauma and other difficulties, but also a catalyst to improving access to experiences of joy and contentment in life. I support clients with their therapy goals whether returning or starting for the first time. Therapy is often a brave journey of exploring the parts of ourselves that we might avoid… feeling scared, sad, angry, confused.

As a therapist, I seek to build relationships with clients from an attachment- and trauma-informed approach from which we can explore how self-perceptions, relational experiences, and early attachment experiences intersect to affect current difficulties in life.

I am a member of the LGBTQ+ Affirmative Therapist Guild of Utah. I work from a multicultural lens and respect the unique challenges of people facing oppression due to other marginalized identities (race, ethnicity, socioeconomic status, disability status). I am affirming of individuals who engage in Polyamory, ENM, kink, and all alternative relationships.

Ketamine has been proven to help with treatment resistant depression, anxiety, PTSD and in some cases substance abuse difficulties. I have training in KAP, EMDR and Internal Family Systems.

Join us for a 4 week experiential group to learn practical self-compassion and mindfulness practices in a safe and inclusive environment. Through learning tools and connection with others, start to shift how you relate to yourself, others and life's setbacks with more awareness, resilience and kindness. We take U of U, HMHI, Select Health, DMBA, PEHP, EMI, Blue cross insurances. This will be co-facilitated with Bridget Thackeray MSCMHC-I.

Ketamine Assisted Therapy Trauma Healing Group

Starting March 17th and lasting for 9 weeks. This group is from 5:30pm-8:00pm on Monday evenings. Space is limited to 6 people. We will have two KAP trained therapists facilitating the group experience. We will also have our FNP Meg Taylor present as well to help facilitate the medication portion. There will be 3 non-medicine groups. The first group is an introduction group and setting intentions group. About half way through we will do an integration group and the final group will be a conclusion group. We are very excited to offer this group with our trained and knowledgeable professional team.
