There are ways in which we learn to orient ourselves to our world; ways we understand connection, safety, intimacy, meaning, and our sense of self. This is described this as our psychic structure. We become observers of self in this therapeutic process. This process unfolds through symbolic interpretations, words/language, patterns/behaviors, emotions, and dreams. Goals for psychodynamic work look unique for each patient. What would you like to better understand about yourself? What do you want to build within yourself?

My therapeutic practice pulls primarily from psychodynamic/psychoanalytic theories, internal family systems theory, and attachment theory. Psychodynamic work is primarily focused on bringing unconscious drives to the front of our mind to deepen self-governance. My therapeutic approach is connection focused and explorative.
