Do you find yourself feeling overwhelmed or paralyzed by anxiety? Perhaps you're experiencing increasing levels of stress and are beginning to doubt your ability to make decisions or figure out what to do next? Sometimes life circumstances, and our human brains, can lead us to a place where we simply want to “give up”. I can help you regain your footing, perspective and focus by providing you with effective coping strategies that will help you get back on track and support you in establishing sustainable long term self-care.
I specialize in treating anxiety disorders, including significant perfectionism, disordered eating and body-image concerns, relational difficulties and trauma/loss...I work with both adolescent and adult individual clients, couples and families utilizing an integration of complimentary approaches.
Engaging in therapy is incredibly brave. It is also a highly individualized process that is most successful when treatment is tailored to the individual client. I utilize Acceptance and Commitment Therapy combined with a variety of other treatment modalities so as to provide treatment best suited to the individual client.
