Working collaboratively within the helping relationship is imperative to my professional values. I believe that taking time for yourself within the therapeutic setting allows you to identify your goals and seek support and guidance to navigate the best path toward finding a place in life you are comfortable with. I specialize in treating pre-teens, teens, and adults. I have years of experience treating clients with ADHD, behavioral disorders, depression, mood disorders, anxiety disorders, stress and anger management, poor self-esteem, life transition issues, social/emotional difficulties impacting a child's learning, grief, divorce and family adjustments, trauma and loss.
I use a client-centered, strengths- based, compassionate and conversational approach with cognitive therapy, behavioral interventions,and a range of techniques that focus on self development and healing. My role is to work collaboratively to develop a "tool kit" for a level of functioning each client seeks to attain.
Additionally I am able to provide clinical and supervisory roles across out-patient, community-based, intensive home-based and residential care programs.
