I am Courtney, a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with a Master's in Clinical Mental Health and a second Master's in the Art of Teaching. For the past 15 years, I have been dedicated to providing meaningful services to individuals aged 3 to 60+ across a variety of settings. I am deeply passionate about helping others reach their full potential and facilitating personal growth. I believe in creating a safe and supportive space where clients can freely express and explore their emotions as they relate to daily experiences.
Through self-exploration activities and therapeutic interventions, I aim to empower clients to discover or create their ideal self. My approach is Person-Centered and strengths-based, which is especially effective for those who are driven but feel stuck or unsure of where to start.
My clinical experience spans working with individuals in both inpatient units for adults, children, and adolescents. I also have experience providing therapeutic interventions at the only mental hospital for children in Virginia, where I worked as an activity therapist addressing a wide range of diagnoses.
