Women seek me out to help build boundaries and self-confidence while trying to manage the stressors of life. Most of the women that come to see me believe, if they can "just do a little better" then they will eventually find the perfect balance; only to find, the amount of effort they put in doesn't change their outcome. I also work with people in the LGBTQ+ community and people that love someone in the LGBTQ+ community struggling to adapt to the changes happening in their life. Ultimately, maybe you're just seeking a sense of self or belonging while dealing with emotional consequences of being rejected by toxic mainstream culture.
At the root of all intervention is mindfulness and it shows up in all of my work. Being trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) well as being a total brain nerd makes me a keen and tuned-in Certified Clinical Trauma Professional.
Helping women find their personal power, building connection within the LGBTQ+ community, and empowering people of color drive my practice. You are worth investing your time, energy, and care. I want you to find the counselor that is best for you.
