We live in a world full of labeling. I believe that before you can accept or reject a label from society, it's important to know yourself. I work with individuals that desire to explore their identities, after being impacted by anxiety, trauma, major life changes and depression. The journey to discovering one's identity is always personal, and no two experiences are the same. As a LCSW, I understand the environmental influences that shape our identity and how we cope with major life changes. I can see clients in IL, WI, MN, SC, NC, FL and VT. I accept insurance in NC and do superbills for clients who choose to self pay
I take the journey with my clients, helping them build a culturally relevant foundation formed by their unique strengths. I offer tele-health services which allows flexibility to participate in the comfort of your home or during lunch breaks. I also send mental health resources used in sessions are sent via email or client portal to clients upon request.
Along the way, we work together to establish success strategies related to healthy boundaries, empathy and self-regulation of one's emotions to live a more fulfilled and intentional life. I create a safe environment to discuss these factors, uncover insights, and create actionable steps you can take towards enrichment, prosperity and freedom.
