I utilize mindfulness-based therapy to facilitate changes at the cognitive, emotional, and behavioral levels. This approach promotes inner peace, which helps us to accept our thoughts and feelings, and develop healthy behaviors. I have advanced training in emotionally focused therapy to help couples and families experiencing distress in their relationships.
I have a Masters in Clinical Psychology and a Masters of Education in counseling from George Mason University. I have over 20 years of clinical experience helping children, teens, couples, adults, older adults and families. My unique collection of life experiences contributes towards my working successfully with my multicultural client population.
