It can be extremely frustrating to feel stuck, like you just can’t get out of a rut, whether that be a habit, behavior, relationship, or something else, and it can be hard to try and overcome it alone. While making the decision to ask for help can feel just as challenging as whatever you’re trying to overcome, it is such an important step to make to start getting out of that rut. In the past I have found myself stuck too, and have had to work through issues of motivation and lack of purpose through avoidance. After finding that purpose in life through my work and the outdoors, I love helping others find their own way too.

Being able to cope with the emotional and mental aspects of life can be overwhelming for everyone. In particular, many men were taught from the time we were young children not to allow feelings to get in the way of life, that men either don’t need to or shouldn’t have emotions without feeling shame for this fact. That simply isn’t true. I am here to tell you that men can learn to process issues and emotions– this is the time for you to feel self-value, dignity and confidence.

I don't know if any of us could have predicted that 2020 would bring us so many challenges. Living during times of crisis can be more stressful and overwhelming, which can make dealing with stress, anxiety, depression and relationship issues even harder.
