Life can be challenging in a number of different ways. We set goals and encounter obstacles. We have dreams but fall short. As a Licensed Professional Counselor, I work with individuals, couples, and families to help them understand their challenges and work toward achieving their goals. This includes working with high-school aged adolescents and adults. And because each situation is unique, I begin the counseling relationship by listening carefully. I want to hear your story and meet you where you are.
My approach to counseling considers the whole self when assessing needs and caring for people. While I have worked with people in a variety of areas, my areas of specialization would include assisting with anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues (e.g. marriage, divorce, parenting, caring for aging parents), addiction recovery, grief and loss.
